Breakthrough Star: Sofia Vergara

Sofia born in Barranquilla, Colombia, was already a big Latin star for the Latin American speaking world as a TV personality. But she was determined to make it in Hollywood, This is where Tyler Perry came in and saw her talent. She was cast in Films from Perry such as "Meet the Browns" (2008) and "Madea goes to jail" (2009).  These roles got America's attention!.

This was when ABC network came knocking on her door to co-star in a new TV series called "Modern Family, now on its second season viewers cannot get enough of the curvaceous Latina with her thick Colombian accent that we are so proud of that she is representing our Latin culture by being in American TV sets each and every week.

The Movie Star: Dania Ramirez

Dania Ramirez Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic , made a name for herself in films like "Fat Albert"(2004) and Spike lee's " She hate me" (2004). But what made her a super star was in the film "X-men: The Last Stand" (2006) where she played Callisto a super fast mutant.

With her much deserved success in films the 32 year old became  regular characters in "The Soparnos", "heroes", and " Entourage".  Being so busy in these shows, she still had time to put in work in films such as "Quarantine" (2008) and in the upcoming " Brooklyn to Manhattan" (2010). There is still more to come from this beauty!!

Disney's Starlet: Selena Gomez

Where should I start with Selena Gomez, born in Texas but from an Mexican-American mother.  She started at a young age of 9 in the TV series Barney & friends". But it wasn't until Disney discovered her where she got numerous  guest starring roles in shows like "Hannah Montana" and " The Suite life on Deck". Disney was not ready to let go of her yet. She starred  on TV movies such as "Another Cinderella Story " (2008) and "Princess Protection Program"(2009).

What made her a Teen Superstar was  when she got her own TV show which is still going strong called "Wizards of Waverly Place" with Disney.  She didn’t stop there now it was time for the big screen debut starring "Ramona and Beezus"(2010).  Her upcoming Movie will be "Monte Carlo" for a set release of 2011.

Latina Who Dominates Television : Francia Raisa

Francia, who is Mexican- American , made herself known in the  Bring it on franchise DVD All or Nothing, where she played a feisty Latin cheerleader from a urban community high school. Making it difficult for a new student played by Hayden Panettiere to adjust.

 Following that she joined the ABC family network to star in a made for TV movie called "Cutting edge3"in 2008 and once again the sequel "Cutting age : Fire and Ice" in 2010. In between these two movies, She also hit the big screen with a small role in the movie "Fired Up" in 2009.

But what Francia who os only 22 years old is more known for is when she returned back to her ABC family , and starred in the hit TV series "The Secret Life of the American Teenager".

From Spanish Soap Operas To Blockbuster Films: Sandra Echeverria

This Mexican sensation from Mexico City, Has won everybody's hearts in the Telemundo's soap opera production of "Marina" in 2006, where she played a very naïve and aggressive poor teenage in the streets of Acapulco, Mexico. 

Sandra Didn't stop there, she continue to search for roles that will put on the map not only in the Spanish speaking world of also in Hollywood. In 2008, she landed a star role alongside Corbin Bleu from Disney's High school Musical in the movie "Free Style" . Letting America know that she isn't just a "novela" star but also has the talent and ambition to be in Blockbuster  films.  Soon After this role she contine with ur soap opera domination and starred in "El CLon" (2010).

Now At 27 years old Sandra is in talks starring next to Will Farrell in one of his upcoming Films that will have a release date in 2011. I can't wait to see more of these gorgeous Actress!
